Opening Pandora's Box / Coronavirus Medication in Poetry

The clouds have
Cloaked the Moon
As the night
Gently slides over the light
Making peace
And resting
From the casualties
Honoring the circle of life

A cool calm breeze
Creeps up in a thick fog
Quickly blinding the sight
That has been skinned from my eyes
The fog slowly fades away
Absorbing into the air

Looking up at the heavens
The Moon finally reveals its face
Then I noticed a woman
Lying on a rock
In a silver and black dress
Bleach blonde hair
She reached up into the sky
To steal the stars
And submit them to her eyes
Hoping eternity would run
Through her blood
Providing the ANTIDOTE
Because she holds the key
To Pandora’s Box

An earthquake rips through the Earth
Separating us
As I fell into the abyss
Screaming as I burn in the fire
Unknown to where I am
Fear closes my eyes
As I drift
To an unknown place in time
