words failing in poetry

the words we use and how
we use them manipulate the
very world around us but no
amount of words no matter how
precise could ever define you
a conscious mind is a special
case a micro reality on itself
too terrifying and slippery and
holy to ever quite be totally
pinned down in one tiny place
you are so very much more
than a description of your
uncommonly beautiful face
the words I use do fail
