Grandma last week of Mar 1982, me today in Grandma and me

Mon Mar 22, 1982

28 again quite a bit of frost. I washed at home and the clothes dried nicely. Pop, Monty and I went to Place’s and got Monty a watch band.

Tue Mar 23, 1982

Went to Trenton, ate dinner at Shirley’s cafe. Didn't find Elma so come on home. She called about 330 so we went back after her and ate supper at Hardee’s.

Wed Mar 24, 1982

Not a thing going on. We all just sat around. Monty and I walked down to Brown place and back after supper.

Thr Mar 25, 1982

26 and sunny. A chilly wind all day. We went to town met Monty and he got a new pair of boots. He went to town and washed his jeep after supper.

Fri Mar 26, 1982

24 and sunny. Monty got stopped on the way to school for speeding. Us and Elma went on to St Joe with him. He got his lower braces off. Ate supper at Western Sizzler. Dinner at Cameron.

Sat Mar 27, 1982

Butch cut some more locusts in the Brown pasture. Not much doiing. We didn't even go to town.

Sun Mar 28, 1982

Froze the ground again last night but warmed up for a nice day. Butch down by a while and Sharon and the kids come down a while.

Today was my long run for the week day. I did 12 miles in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Thats a average pace of 4.7 to 4.8 per mile. One thing I do like about the long runs is I can treat myself to a “forbidden” food and still stay in my calorie range. I had onion rings with my chicken salad. I thought about getting a hamburger but the new me actually likes salads better.
