Internet trash in What's Happening

The internet has turned into one huge virtue-signaling pissing contest.

It’s even worse than ever recently with the current events taking place.

One of the most popular things is everyone who say’s: We need to thank all the truckers who are delivering products to the stores for us. That’s fine if that’s what you want to do. It’s actually a nice gesture. But don’t try to shame anyone else who isn’t doing it.

That’s not even the best part though… then you read the comments and it’s full of people saying “Don’t forget to thank me too! I’m doing an important job too! I deserve to be thanked!”

You people aren’t doing volunteer work! You’re getting paid money to do a job you signed up for!! If anything you’re almost lucky to have an opportunity to prosper financially at a time like this when many people are about to be out of work for a while without pay.

I’m fortunate that I won’t be one of those people. I’ll likely be working the entire crisis.
