Wow, it has been nine days since my last entry. A long time. Wednesday was my birthday. On Tuesday my parents took me to the mall to get a present. I found some nice pants for spring. They were on clearance, although I'm not sure why because they will be great for warmer weather. Maybe because they are purple and ivory and are considered winter colors. They fit me really well and are very nice.

On Wednesday at lunchtime I was by myself and decided to go to Red Lobster. My husband and the kids don't really care for Red Lobster, so it was a good place to go on my own. Actually, the people sitting at the next table had twins. They were about a year old. There were two people sitting at the table on the other side of me. I think they were having some sort of business meeting. The guy was saying that in his business, as long as he made money no one noticed them. He didn't say what kind of business it was. All he said was that one of his colleagues was at a big data meeting in the Carolinas.

Last night my husband took me and the kids out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We went to a local Italian restaurant. I had Italian wedding soup and chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. It was great. Afterward we had a cake.

My godparents' son is visiting with my parents this week. He attends graduate school and is on spring break. We went to the art gallery today. They had an interesting exhibit about some of the local creeks.

When I first started typing this entry, I typed it into the title section. I couldn't figure out why the writing kept scrolling across the page. Turns out you can make really long titles in the new editor.
