Chemistry

Tonight I am chemical free, but so far from you and me, and I have no hope of possibility to ever so eloquently confess to be the proud man that I used to be that enthralled you so effortlessly.

When I was completely me.

Not chemical free.

And there is the inevitable rub. The toxic parry and thrust. It remains in you I have lost, both my youth and trust. You are all that festers and rusts.

The inevitable failure and cost.

Of our weather so worn and our star so crossed.

You are the chemical burn.

And I the chemist’s lost cause.

Tonight I am ready to learn.

A failure of all.

I am a compound’s fool.

I am scientific proof.

That happiness is earned not a promise.

Tonight I am chemical free.

And you are the last to notice.

Within such a very damaged pretty. One I certainly thought I would never see. My eyes far better off blind than starry. A soul better off alone than accompanied.

Chemical free… fxdhvxx

fuck it tired of editing this nonsense for hours.
