Yesterday was the first eighty degree day of 2020. And this morning I woke up to clouds and sixty degrees. So I guess winter is officially over. It is supposed to start raining tonight and rain all day tomorrow with a high in the sixties. We’ll see.

I finished reading three issues of National Geographic that I’d found in one of the laundry rooms. January, February and March of 2019. I really do need to make some kind of chart to list the issues I’ve read since I’ve just been finding random issues that I think I haven’t read. I do write them down but then I have to remember where I wrote the individual entries down.

I’ve ordered two non-fiction books from the library. But they were found about three orbits outside the local system so she said it may be three weeks before they arrive.

In the meantime I’ve got that Chapman’s Piloting book with a good chapter on navigation I can study and a good chapter on useful knots I can practice.

And I could always re-read “Nightmares & Dreamscapes” that I’d found at Goodwill and only read once twenty-five years ago when it first came out. As faulty as my memory is getting it may be close to a first reading.

Anyway, I’m going to make a pot of chili, for these chili looking but not chili feeling couple of days coming up.

Here’s a new one from Kala, that girl who covered Tool’s “46 & 2” six years ago and now has 21 million hits.
