Mood Great
Exercise 7 K on the rower
I’ve let a half a year go by without writing, and I’ve done nothing but gain weight, and be depressed. I’m going to start journaling again to keep better track of my mood
Had unsettling news at work. They are going from a pension plan to a 401 K, and in the past they paid 35% of the BCBS insurance premium and the employee paid 65% of the premium. If you retire after 2020 you will have to pay 100% of whatever insurance Plan you can find. I am 58 and want to retire at 62 so I have got to decide by June if I want to retire now or wait until 62. I have a group meeting scheduled and a one on one session scheduled with a retirement specialist from the company. My good friend Johnny is also a retirement planner so I’m going to talk with him as well.
The cats are all doing good…. Oops I haven’t told you about my newest one. Her name is Lily and she was the mother of the Harry Potter kittens I fostered for the shelter. She was at Petsmart for awhile but she didn’t like anyone picking her up to move her while her cage was being cleaned. TO me the answer to that was pretty simple just clean around her, but the other volunteers complained to Diane so much she took her back to the shelter until I was done fostering for the summer. I got her back in June or July last year and she has been with me ever since. She doesn’t like my cats so she never really cuddles with me because she is too busy trying to establish the other cats are nowhere around. Her favorite game is trying to knock the toilet paper either into the toilet or the wet tub!
Figaro has decided he is the Pince of the household. He goes up to all the other cats in the household and presents his head to be washed. For some reason Sadie and Gracie get along with him and will do his bidding although Sadie usually turns in into a wrestling game which he does not appreciate.
Gina’s girls are all doing well. My uncle and I went for a visit last weekend. Had a great time. I had given them all Build A Bear gift cards for Xmas so we went to Build A Bear to spend the gift cards. They crack me up. Claira kept saying Valentimes Day, and there is a dog in the neighborhood called Newton. Instead of pronouncing his name like Fig Newton they say New TAWN.
