Grandma 3rd week of March 1992, me today in Grandma and me

Gma Sun Mar 15, 1992

24 nice white frost. Feed services did the chores. No calves. Butch and Sharon come down and hauled the roan heifer and her calf back to the timber. Charles, Teri and Josh was here awhile. Chuck and doris brought Daniel, Ryan, Ben and Sam down a short while. Lisa had appendix out today.

Gma Mon Mar 16, 1992

1. Sunny, windy. No new calves. I was supposed to get some gravel but it didn't come. Chuck ate dinner with us. Just burgers. Butch come down and checked cows and loaded our hay for morning. 60 for a high.

Gma Tue Mar 17, 1992

1. We got gravel put all in front of the house and barn. We finished hauling the brush between us and D Gates. I had cut it last fall. Not much else going on. Sharon and Butch come down and loaded our hay for tomorrow.

Gma Wed Mar 18, 1992

35 and raining. We got wet doing the chores. Started raining at bed time last night and we have over an inch in the gage this morning. Still raining. We just stayed in and let it rain. Started turning to snow about night. Butch and sharon went back and checked the cows after they got off work. Our Black and white Silver cow had a dead calf. Didn't look like it even moved.

Gma Thur Mar 19, 1992

A beautiful morning after the storm. We had over 2 inches of rain yesterday and Tues night. Snow of almost 3 inches. Calves were alright and able to play this morning. We had to go to the grocery store and paid a bill at Patels office. Come home but went to Ridgeway afternoon, got some hamburger and paid locker rent. Most all of the snow melted. About 50 ffr the high.

Another nice day. Didn't do much but chore. Butch’s black mottled face cow had a calf, we went back to see about her right after noon. Kathy called and she isnt coming this weekend.

Chore services, so we didn't do much all day. TV wasn't much either. Cloudy but never rained.

Me Tues Mar 18, 2014

I’m excited! I belong to a weight loss/weight maintenance online support group. Which includes a podcast where the host interviews people about their weight loss experience. She wants to interview me! On one hand I don't think I’m anything special that warrants being interviewed but as my proud brother always tells me not many people have lost 100 + pounds and kept it off for two years.
