I live with my husband, John, younger son, Tony & 2 cats in a village in South Herefordshire UK. Our elder son, Chris, is in Hereford and our daughter, Cat, in Cardiff. I love writing short stories and poetry, am working on my autobiography. Also love music, play guitar and sing, enjoy gardening, family history and travel when I can. We bought our cottage for the view 36 years ago. It's in a terrace of five, part way up a hill overlooking the village, the Black Mountains & the Golden Valley.
Tout comprendre, c’est tout pardonner. - To understand all is to forgive all.

Money and primroses in The View from the Terrace
Isn't it awful the way we can sometimes focus on people's negative qualities and forget to see their good points. I was talking to a friend who had just had a row with her rather anal husband abo...

Doing what you can in The View from the Terrace
I love this story, it reminds me of something I read that Mother Teresa said - 'If you can't feed 100 people then feed one.' Making a difference is all about doing what you can. Sometimes I g...
