Writing this in 2023, I am divorced with one daughter and three grandchildren - two girls and a boy ages 10, 8 and 4. I’m really lucky to live only half an hour away from them :) I am currently undergoing a horrible protracted withdrawal from Mirtazapine, an anti depressant. I was polydrugged in 2015 and became very ill from them to the point of being bedbound for months. I eventually realised the harm they were causing and came off 2 of them and am now on the last one.

August Offerings in Scottish Meanderings

April Showers in Scottish Meanderings
Not really much to report this month - April continued to be very rough so there's been very little done apart from the basics and sometimes these have fallen by the wayside as well so everything...
March Murmurings in Scottish Meanderings
God I've had a really rough month this last month with this withdrawal and it's really getting me down. Sleep is all over the place - either I don't sleep at all or I have a sedated sleep for 11...
February Fun in Scottish Meanderings
Trying not to listen to the negative voice in my head telling me we're half way through March and I'm already not doing well with my once a month entries this year. I did another cut of Mirtazap...
January Japes in Scottish Meanderings
Right let's see if I can make better progress this year. We started the month off with a trip to town to see the pantomime 'Cinderella'. We still had snow on the ground and the kids had come fr...

September Sorties in Scottish Meanderings
It's wild weather outside today - 'dreich' as my Dad would have said - a good Scottish word for dreary, bleak, dull or gloomy - it's pouring, the wind's howling, my ancient fence is hanging on li...

In Which I Had a Bit Of A Breakthrough in Scottish Meanderings

March Meanderings in Scottish Meanderings
So wish I had better news from my end in this month's update but it's just the same - worse if that's possible. Still just ploughing through the days, forcing myself to do stuff just to particip...
So the laugh of the month is the fact that, after shelling out to get my side of my neighbour's hedges trimmed in my last entry, she went and got them dug up 3 weeks later! Could have saved myse...
