She Misses Them
My youngest daughter was just over 1 when we moved here. The change wasn't something she knew, it wasn't something she was aware of or could conceptualise, let alone comprehend. She's almost 3 no...
Too Many Eggs + My Life
Our chickens started laying eggs regularly, and quite suddenly we were left with a thousand eggs that we had no idea what to do with (other than bake cookies and cakes). Two dozen went to school,...
This is Strange
Funny how familiarity becomes a sense of home. I suppose this is new, and that is a positive thing. Everything is a matter of time.
Book Description
My drive has always been, “Happiness is my Destiny.”
However, over the years I have realised that really, there is happiness to be embraced every single day of my life. Of course, the contents of my days aren’t ONLY happiness - my destiny is here, right now, this minute, this breath.
So breathe with me.
So:
L is my husband. He is awesome, there is no other word to describe him. Oh yeah there is, thoughtful, funny, helpful, funny, amazing in bed, funny. And.... FUNNY!
M is my daughter, she is 5. Headstrong, loving, individual. Beautiful. Learning how she relates to the world and learning all about Big Girl friendships since starting school. Her journey has truly begun now and she is finding her way. She’ll be a little woman before I know it. (this scares me)
L is my other daughter, she is ‘almost 3’ (she’ll tell you everyday). She is funny, crazy, cute. Definitely cute. Innocent, sensitive, in tune with nature, aware of her surroundings, beautiful.
I’m not sure that I write about anyone else all that regularly, but you’ll figure out who they are.
Welcome :)
