Another First for the Vault

Another First!!!!!!!!!!!! She got off the bus, smiling. She always smiles as she gets off the bus, but it's usually a sleepy, tired smile, one that spells relief at seeing mum at the end of her ...

Tonight I felt disillusioned with a friend. I felt angry and used. I felt like I really needed a punching bag just to vent, but seeing as I have no punching bag, I turned to my guitar, which is e...

What's Happening This Week

We have most certainly entered what I will call The Whirlwind Phase in our lives with Little L. Tantrums, tears, more tears. Crying because she wants something (instead of asking for it), and the...

She Misses Them

My youngest daughter was just over 1 when we moved here. The change wasn't something she knew, it wasn't something she was aware of or could conceptualise, let alone comprehend. She's almost 3 no...

This is Strange

Funny how familiarity becomes a sense of home. I suppose this is new, and that is a positive thing. Everything is a matter of time.

Book Description

My drive has always been, “Happiness is my Destiny.”
However, over the years I have realised that really, there is happiness to be embraced every single day of my life. Of course, the contents of my days aren’t ONLY happiness - my destiny is here, right now, this minute, this breath.

So breathe with me.

So:

L is my husband. He is awesome, there is no other word to describe him. Oh yeah there is, thoughtful, funny, helpful, funny, amazing in bed, funny. And.... FUNNY!

M is my daughter, she is 5. Headstrong, loving, individual. Beautiful. Learning how she relates to the world and learning all about Big Girl friendships since starting school. Her journey has truly begun now and she is finding her way. She’ll be a little woman before I know it. (this scares me)

L is my other daughter, she is ‘almost 3’ (she’ll tell you everyday). She is funny, crazy, cute. Definitely cute. Innocent, sensitive, in tune with nature, aware of her surroundings, beautiful.

I’m not sure that I write about anyone else all that regularly, but you’ll figure out who they are.

Welcome :)
