As The Fog Descends
Today is a foggy foggy morning. I woke up, got dressed, Nala woke up. I took her to her bowls and gave her fresh water and some food. She was entirely disinterested. Took her outside. She ma...
I Have Mapped My April
Obviously, those who read me can appreciate that I am a fan of schedules. Not like… tightly, insane, every minute of every day is planned and any deviation from that plan is fatal. THAT kind of...
Dog Question
Okay, folks… I know there are people out there that would say “I don’t care if I go bankrupt, my dog is getting whatever he/she needs!!” I’m not that kind of guy. However, I am the kind of guy th...
Work, Life, Love
Woke up this morning; Puppy is dead to the world asleep. I’m able to go to the bathroom, comb my hair, brush my teeth, take my pills and all of that before she even starts to get out of her bed....
Last Little Bit
Saturday we went to counseling. Counselor said we’re doing well. Then we went to look at Puppies. We didn’t need to. We weren’t obligated to. It was something that Wife said she was ready to ...

I hope but cannot promise that at the beginning of each month, I will review my Yearly Resolutions and chart where I am. It is another way of keeping me honest, keeping me focused, and hopefully...

Weird Idea
I just had a weird idea for a story: Normal person, normal life, 3rd Shift Convenience Store Clerk, nothing special. They use a site like Prosebox to journal and read other journals. One day, th...
How Appropriate
This is appropriate. I can’t spend a lot of time on this site, but I need it for my mental state of calm. Rather like when I was studying for the bar exam. So like when I was taking the bar ex...
Survey
So… a little outreach can be helpful. JUst doing a survey to fill some time while I wait for a phone call: How old will you be in five years? I will be 40 days away from my 40th birthday How tal...
Thanks and More
Thank you to people who left comments on my last entry. It helps. As does spending the weekend with my parents. In their way. My father still supports Trump in ways that should otherwise make...
All in All
When things go according to expectations… and that isn’t great. Got home. Tired and exhausted. Went to the gym. Tired and exhausted and still the same weight. Came home… nothing much of anyt...
As It Goes
Oh holy hell. Another day of go GO GO GO GO Got here at 8… first “breather” was at 11:06. And that breather was rather forced to happen by me because I’d been going nonstop. It is funny. I...
Self Sabatoge
I want to start this off with a specific noise to express how I’m feeling right now but I can’t find the right letters on the keyboard to do so. Today. Has been. Busy. I got to work at a quart...
Don't Expect Much, Darlings
Today is… an odd day. I woke up from a fascinating dream that I will share at the very end of this (as hearing people’s dreams can be a bit boring) and I noticed it was 4:50 a.m. And I was rathe...
Long Day Starting Rough
So… yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day. I had to start late on that… we worked out and I drank a bunch of water to try to counterbalance the sweat. So when I started drinking, I was drinking Double...
Ready Set Go
Speed writing? Because this is going to be quick. This week promises to be busy, next week promises to be a fucking nightmare so we’ll see how much my writing and reading keep up or don’t. I am ...

Kali-mah Thirsty Day
It seems spring is in the air. I’ll hold my breath and cross my fingers and hope it isn’t an illusion. After all, in the midwest it isn’t entirely uncommon for us to get snow as late as May… so...
Grumble
So… not surprising… and not new… but.... I need a vacation. Obviously. I’ve already said that exact thing this week. But I’m making “bad choices” in response and that doesn’t help anyone. You ...
For Kristo's Sake!
So… if you’ve read my previous entries… you know that today was going to be a tough day. A weekend filled with insomnia. A weekend filled with bad decisions in attempting to treat that insomnia....
Not The Sexy Entry, Though NSFW Pics, Vids (Maybe)
The following was written in short bursts through the evening of the 9th, Morning of the 10th. This shall be quick and typically rather pointless. However, there will be photos and videos that s...
Book Description
This will now be my sixth year writing in Prosebox. I started as a Law Student considering Divorce… and now I’m a Government Attorney who owns a house going to marriage counseling. After 6 consecutive years of “Looking for something new or better” this year, I’m just trying to hold on to what I’ve got. I like my job. I like my community. I like my house. I’m just trying to hold on to all of it and make sure I keep things going.
