NJM 12 - ambition in Each Day

What’s a quality you can’t help but admire in another person?

This feels weirdly counterintuitive to say… but ambition. Not in the “rat race” “competing to get ahead” kind of ambition, but that internal fortitude some people have that makes them impervious to the judgement of others, the odds, or the stakes. I think of small business owners, or amateur athletes, or burgeoning actors.
People who have a goal and then just, work toward it. It feels impossible, to me.
