How is everyone doing? Well this last week was alright. We went and saw Incredibles 2 on Monday afternoon since Randy was off. Took him to the Roadhouse because they have the recliners and he needed to have his leg elevated. Movie was awesome. So glad we went to see it.

Went to Bed Bath & Beyond and I bought some baking soda things for the fridge and freezer because it was stinky. bleh. Tuesday he went to work....I don’t think I did anything that day. Wednesday he was off and I can’t freaking remember what we did if anything.

Thursday we went and did acupuncture in the morning and then had lunch and I left for NM. OH yeah Wednesday a guy came out to assess the quality of our mattress and I thought Randy was going to kill someone once he found out that our mattress didn’t meet the requirements for a warranty claim. The “body depressions” were at 1/2” and they need to be at 3/4” in order for them to warranty out the bed. But we weren’t complaining about the body wells, we were complaining about the fact that the mattress we bought was firm and it was no longer firm. They told us that the “comfort issue” doesn’t get taken into consideration. So we were dissatisfied with a product and they basically told us to suck it up.

Anywho, so we went to Sam Levitz to talk to the guy we had talked to on Sunday and he got us a manager to help us out with the issue. They basically told us to do whatever we can to get that last 1/4” well depth. So we’re going to just put a bunch of shit on the bed and let it sit for a while while my dad isn’t here using it. So we’ll see how long that takes.

Once we get that warrantied out, we have like a $600 credit. BUT, we did end up getting a new bedroom set. We needed a new bed because we were not comfortable in that bed. Plus we needed a bigger bed. So we upgraded to a king mattress. Went back to a traditional spring mattress too instead of the gel/memory foam. we’ve gotten older and our bodies need the extra support. The bed is AMAZERINGS. Its comfy and big and we have so much room. It fits perfectly into where we have the bed too. A little bit bigger obvi, but its awesome. We have two night stands and a tall dresser, which works perfectly because the bed is taller and so the TV is at the perfect height for in bed tv watching haha.

Anyway, so that happened wednesday, he picked everything up thursday and I was in NM.

We went to Las Cruces friday morning and got his appointment done. Dr. said everything looks good, he just needs to continue what he’s currently doing. He has another appointment in 6 months (Dec. 19th) and then he’ll have a stress test in a year. So that’s a good thing!

He got a letter from the state DMV saying they needed a current eye exam on file for him in order for him to keep his license. Well he went to get that done and they told him he needs to have cataract surgery. FML lol. So we’re going to call around tomorrow to see who can get him in soon to do that so that he can get his license renewed or keep it or whatever. Once he gets that done he can get glasses.

BLARGH So I was planning on coming back sunday but my dad was ready to come back saturday. So we got ready and everything and I went and talked to my friend Liz and got the stuff that I had bought from her and chatted for about an hour and a half lol. Good times.

Had to stop at CVS on the way out because aunt flo showed up. 4 out of the 5 times i’ve gone to NM recently I’ve started my period. And I never go prepared either. I’ll know next time haha.

Sunday Conrad came out and leveled the pool area. Randy’s dad and one of their mechanic friends came out to look at the truck and figure out what was going on there. I slept until 11 lol. Everyone was gone by then. Including Randy and the Dogs. Apparently they had gotten out. They came back about 4 hours later. FUCKERS. And now Poker is hurt. So he has a bandage on his paw. dumb dumb.

Today Randy had to go to a follow up at Urgent Care for his knee. He’s still on limited duty. So he’s closing as a driver tonight instead of closing the store.

He’s also thinking about doing temporary disability. We’ll see what happens there. He needs some time to just get better. We need some time to just be together, we really haven’t had that. So we’ll see what he comes up with in that arena.

His birthday is Friday and he’s off, so we might go up to Mt. Lemmon like usual, but I don’t 100% know what he wants to do. He just wants me to make a tiramisu cheesecake. Should be delicious.
