These four things I KNOW ARE TRUE:
1) It looks like this is my perma-blog home
2) I had a good weekend.
3) Its cold out thurr.
4) This kitty is a biscuit maker cat
So here we go...
Yeah. So long and thanks for all the Fish OD land. Proseybox is here. Meh. I'm still not sure on this site yet.
Anyways. My weekend was okay. I was supposed to go to pittsburgh for a jorb interview, but alas the place was a commission only place. Sad. It seemed like a fun place to work at too. But i wasn't traveling to pittsburgh for a door to door commission job. Blah. So I continue to look. My big problem is If I want an education job, I have to move, cause PA is a hotbed of teaching jobs (not that there are any)and all the good jobs are in pittsburgh (An hour drive, which is ok,but the job has to be REALLY good) and my biggest problem? I don't know excel. So I think this week I'm going to try to self teach myself some basic excelness. Meep. So Yeah. Blargh.
Over the weekend I went down to Tiffany's, we just chilled and stuff down at her place, then I played games saturday at my friends, and it was fun. I got to play Russian Railroads (it scratches a different angle of the Worker placement game, its different in comparison to Euphoria (Where you get one or two workers at turn and its slow and methodical) or Manhattan Project (my FAVORITE worker placement game where you build an engine to run your projects while you build ATOMIC BOMBS. (Not on other players per se but just building them) So I think for Worker placement my Five Favorite ones are:
Manhattan Project, Euphoria, Russian Railroads (needs more plays though), Village and Waterdeep (although this is probably one of my favorite genres of board games, alongside deck building, and economic games) So.. Whee. Awesome. It was a good day of gaming. Some other games were played, but I was happy to play Russian Railroads and Glass road. And games in general. It was a good night. Although I felt bad for the one dude, I took him over to his car, and well he locked his car keys in his car, and this was at 130 am, he said he would of waited outside, but he had me go back to my friends place (wasn't sure if they were in his car, because my friend ferried people from a parking lot cause of the snow and stuff and the housing area had to plow the area (by the time we left it looked like it never was snowed) but I felt bad, he said he would of stayed outside.. O.o I offered to stay for a while but my friend came and picked him up and brought him back and I guess it took an hour and a half to get there. Meep.
So sunday came. And it was boring. No sports on TV makes me go cray-cray. No football (ok the pro bowl but that isn't real football) No soccer, I ended up watching the Rangers-devils game.. blah. But I watched Inglorious Basterds last night.. THATS A BINGO! Haha.
Today, my mom and I went to cranberry, Ate at Primani brothers, Looked at home theater systems for me (late gift) and I looked for a gift for Tiffany. I'm gonna get her a badge for gencon and both zelda 1 and zelda 2 on the GBA for her DS I have to get my badge, but I can get it sometime soon. Later in the day we got her some groceries and I got a key lock for a spare key so if I ever get locked out I can get in my house.
Anyways. Thats all. I think. Is it? Yeah. I'm gonna get a hot beverage. I got some neat Mocha latte K-Cups I think i'm gonna try one of those. I don't sleep well to begin with! Hah.
THATS A BINGO!
Have a great night, and a good Tuesday (you bet your sweet bippy i'm still gaming tomorrow night, its cold, not snowy. I'd rather have -5 degrees than 5 inches of snow)
Good night, and good luck.
Chris
