RAIN in Talk Story

Aloha…

We are getting an incredible amount of rain here on the southern coast of Oregon… just over six inches in the last 24 hours here at my house…

The 101 highway which goes through Brookings is completely flooded… rock slides… strong wind… trees down… power out… roads washed out…

It has been a steady downpour without any letup during this time…

I live just two miles north of town… and things are okay here… well except for all of the water (sigh)…

The temperature has remained at 50f… so it is not uncomfortably cold…

Inland they are getting snow… (lucky I live at the coast)…
