Better Stuff in Hello.

Got the day off work to go get my tattoo in less than three weeks. That sneaked up on me! I want this tattoo to be one of a pair on my calves, but haven’t found one suitable for my other calf yet. Not sure if I want to find the design myself or if I tell Ollie what I want and let him have free reign…
When I go, I’m also making an appointment for Bel to get her ears pierced. This is the only place I’ve found near me who will pierce a child’s ear lobes with a needle. I’ve explained to her that if she gets them done with a gun, we could get it done tomorrow, but there’s a higher risk of infection, prolonged healing time and less choice of jewellery. We’ve watched videos demonstrating the difference between gun and needle piercing....she’s prepared to wait and get it done with a needle. :) So we’re getting them done in the summer holidays.

I’ve managed to get Shellie and I tickets to see Eagles of Death Metal in a tiny venue Birmingham! That’s in November. Fingers crossed that I haven’t jinxed it by buying us tickets to go together, as the Amanda Palmer gig and Alt Fest were both cancelled!
