These four things I KNOW ARE TRUE:

1: So. I had an interesting time downloading FFXIV..

2: Its pretty good though.

3: My kitties are so fluffy and silly.

4: The past couple days have been not too shabby.

so here we go...........

Yeah. Let me tell y’all about what happened downloading all the patches for Final Fantasy 14. Ok, let me first say my ps3 is in an entertainment stand, alongside my xbox 360, and i’ve download big files on it.. and I know 6GB is gonna take a few hours.. so I start it.. I notice the estimated time remaining is like 1200 minutes.. i’m like.. thats not right, then I notice the download speed.. .05 MB. That is not a typo, that is dial up speeds right there.. So I call armstrong, my cable company, they tell me about the magic 192 IP thing to get into my router (which i IMMEDIATELY changed that password after that lol) and they told me about the wireless channel which I changed, and so I changed the wireless channel. and for a while that worked. And well for the rest of the time I had to change the wireless channels like mad. But it finally downloaded. (it fluctuated wildly the download speeds from .04mb to 1 full MB) Fortuneatly though the game has not been laggy. I lagged out once. But thats ok.

To the game. It is so streamlined and fairly simple to play so far, the hot bars are easy to use and combat isn’t bad so far. I’ve barely scratched the surface honestly (I think level 10 or 15 is when the real fun begins) But, I really doubt anyone plays but I am on the Cactaur server and the Name is Ekhdal Brand (A tribute to my FFXI days, when my character Ekhdal would sell stuff, I’d Call it Ekhdalbrand goods.. and one of these days if I get a video production thing going, that is the name of my production company.. haha)

So, board gaming was fun, and that is what is gonna happen tonight. So i’m gonna be doing some FFXIV for a while I think. When I was on the phone with the cable I finally had them reset my email for my armstrong account, (i never used the actual email, but now I have access to the streaming apps of HBOGo, NBCSN and watchESPN. What I might do if it works is watch sports/HBO on my iPad and play FFXIV.. lol I dunno yet. I’m lazy.

My kitties got a visit from my niece today.. lol. They were behaved. Macaroni is silly, he is so shy when i’m here alone and when people are here he is so friendly.. and Boots, last night as I was taking a bath, he wanted to jump in with me! Silly cat. :)

I also cut my grass.. using my push mower takes as long as using my riding mower i think. It took me a half hour to do, and I think 15 of that was doing my hill and the one patch i’m paranoid about using the riding mower about.

anyways.. i think i’m done talking. I’m gonna putz around on the game, then get some dinner, and then my friends will be over for a few games. Have a good night Prosebutt.
