Big Bertha in blackpropaganda

This is Big Bertha from WW1 - a phallic symbol if ever there was one

However our Big Bertha is Hurricane Bertha whicj has arrived in the UK - well, a smaller version but still carrying a lot of rain - and wind - it is raining now - and likely to do so all day - so the predominant colour is GREY. We seem to have the rain, but no wind at the moment. It is just a reminder that summer is slipping away - a little bit of autumnal weather now and more to some. Still, I think I would rather be here with C16 than in Spain where it is C35 at the moment - a bit too hot for us - and we had a message that the pool at the apartment complex there has been shut - until further notice. Let's hope it is just that someone has excreted in the pool and it has to be cleaned. Son and family go out on Wednesday once the others have come back. So today we will be mainly getting sorted!
