Ah, the joy of youth...... in blackpropaganda

I suddenly thought yesterday afternoon that I needed a haircut. It was out of control - and then SW.. said the hairdresser we go to would be busy - and I rang up to find there will be only one of the two working next week - and my usual one will be off. But I could go at 5 pm - and so off I went. The point of this? Sitting diagonally across from me when I was all ready to be cut was a young woman with the most wonderful long hair and angelic face - she was having it shaped but it fell below her shoulders and framed her face beautifully. I just could not help looking at her - occasionally she turned to look at the side in her mirror - and there a side on view of her hair and face. Gorgeous. Normally I wax lyrical about having someone cut my hair - but I was entranced by this young lady. When she was finished and got up I saw she had on a school uniform - maybe she was 17, maybe she was younger than she looked. I can understand why some men are carried away with the sight of such beauty.

This takes me back to my youth!!

And in other news - England lost to Uruguay and should be coming home after their final group match unless there is a miracle in the other matches - there won't be! Woe and gnashing of teeth among the pundits and the press - maybe some of them will have to come home now - and no more stories of the English team, thank God.

By the way, all hell is going on in the middle east - but England lost!!!!!! What a relief!
