THE CHRISTMAS CAT in Postcards 4

We don’t remember where the Christmas Cat came from.

“You are always bringing strange animals home,” George told me. “He was from some thrift store or other. Perhaps the Cancer Society store.”

And while I vigorously defend myself against the charge of animal bringing, I admit that life would be a much emptier thing without that lively cat. Colorwize he doesn’t match the blue living room, but he is just fine as he is.
