It’s cold and rainy and I put my inside/outside plants outside yesterday. I ‘always’ say - wait until after Mother’s Day which this year is May 12th to put out or plant tender plants. But do I do it? Apparently not. I was just so sick of them being inside and I wanted to get rid of them so I guess I have. They won’t exactly die at an overnight temp of 48 and daytime temp of 60 -both Fs, but they sure as hell won’t thrive.

Oh well I am full of bad decisions. I’ve been waiting for today for a month or more because someone I know was having a craft sale and I wanted to go. I didn’t want any crafts really but it seemed like kind of a lively shopping experience. So I’ve been planning - keeping track of what day it was, what time it was, and I made sure I had some cash on hand - not much just $20 which might have been the problem. I think $40 would have been better. How much are you expected to buy at a craft sale anyway? But I didn’t go. It was cold and rainy and I wanted more to go back to bed. So I did.

Now I’m up and full of bananas and potato chips and I’m still hungry. This is not the best day I’ve had even though I’m glad it’s spring and I generally like spring. And on top of it all I’m GLAD it’s raining. Last year we were just about and perhaps definitely in a drought that rain this spring is beyond welcome. It’s been coming regularly and not in huge damaging amounts. So overall I’m grateful.

Feel free to tell me to eat better.
It’s too late to scold me about the plants and the craft sale.
Have a good weekend.
If you want to.

Where I live it's Easter. Don't plant before Easter. And winter isn't over until the pecan trees put out leaves.

:)

My Mom likes gardening too. I don't think anyone knows what they're doing - or very few anyway.

Spring in Tucson is decided when one day is 45° F and the very next day is 95° F.
I believe, being from the northern tier of the US myself, I would prefer your more gradual Spring over the one we have here.

Bananas are good for breakfast. I usually have a poached egg, a sausage link, and a banana for breakfast most mornings.

You have tulips! We have a smidge of green starting.
I think that burgundy of your sweatshirt is your colour :)
Take care,

We have had almost non- stop rain. I am tired of it . It’s still cool here at night so I have not put my plants out yet but I might today. I am sick of them inside too . Mother’s Day is the planting rule here too . I am eager to plant things in my yard/ garden . My iris and roses are starting to bloom . The weeds are getting out of hand already due to so much rain ( I think).
My appetite has been bad lately so I am just eating some yogurt most mornings and a few berries. Sometimes a banana . I always have hot tea too . I am not a coffee drinker so tea is how I get going. Maybe you should consider taking a good multi- vitamin. I do and I have felt better since I started them. I know my diet is not balanced.
It’s good to see you !

All you needed was some peanut butter with those bananas and chips, it makes a great sandwich.

Rain here, again and most of the week, but the thunderstorms have been half-hearted ones. Our April was the wettest on record and I'm sure the muddy fields are slowing down the farmers.

I like your hoody...looks comfy and like it can provide coverage on a bad hair day. So many times I don't follow through on planned community events. They sound good until it is time to actually go and mingle with people.
